I'm Luc Rulmont, a pre-medical student in Santa Barbara. My clinical, research, leadership, and teaching experiences have shaped my path toward medicine.

Where the field taught me to listen.

Scribing in an emergency department taught me that acute care is as much about communication as it is about diagnosis. Working alongside the medical team, I learned to follow the rhythm of a fast-moving space and to hold steady when the room was not.
