No Empty Seats

Vice President and Co-Founder | About 1 year

I have been involved with No Empty Seats for about a year, beginning when we were still figuring out what we wanted the organization to become. I helped co-found it around the idea of creating more open conversations about mental health and building a stronger sense of support among students. As Vice President, I have helped with outreach, planning events, and making decisions about how the organization should grow. Starting something from the beginning has taught me much more than simply joining an established club would have. We have had to learn through trial and error, listen to feedback, and adjust when an idea does not work the way we expected.

Chemistry Club

Treasurer | Recent involvement

Chemistry Club is one of my newer activities, but it gives me another way to be involved with a subject that has become a big part of my college experience. As Treasurer, I help with the financial and organizational side of the club and support events for other students interested in chemistry. After spending so much time both studying and teaching organic chemistry, I like being able to participate in a community centered around science in a setting that is less formal than a classroom.

Medical Response Society

Treasurer | Recent involvement

Medical Response Society is another newer leadership role for me. As Treasurer, I help with the practical side of keeping the organization running and supporting its events. I enjoy being around other students who are interested in medicine and emergency care, especially because everyone comes in with different experiences and goals. Even though I am still relatively new to the organization, it has already given me another way to connect my interest in healthcare with campus involvement.
